The code box will not available until you finish the intro tutorial. You need to speak to the Kraken and catch three fish to complete it.
Open the Roblox app on PC, mobile, or console and search for
Abyss (full name: Abyss [BETA]), or use the
direct game link
to launch it immediately. Wait for the game to fully load before proceeding.
When you first launch Abyss, you'll go through a short tutorial — talk to the Kraken, upgrade your starter gear, and catch three fish. Once the tutorial is marked as complete, the code redemption panel becomes available inside Settings. Skip this and no code will work.
Look for the Gear (cogwheel) icon in the top-left corner of the screen — it sits just below your cash balance. Click or tap it to open the Settings panel. On mobile, the icon may be slightly smaller but is in the same position.
The Settings panel opens on the left side. Scroll down to the very
bottom of the panel — past all the game settings — until you see the
Codes input box.Click the Enter Code text field and type or paste your
code exactly as shown. Codes are case-sensitive — even one wrong
letter or an extra space will cause it to fail. Use the Copy button on our
codes page to paste directly and avoid typos.
Press the green Redeem button. If the code is valid, a success notification will appear and your rewards — Star Shards, Oxygen Pods, Potions — will be added to your inventory instantly. Open your Inventory to verify. Each code can only be redeemed once per account.

"Tutorial not completed"
Haven't Finished the Tutorial
The code field is hidden until you complete the tutorial. You need to talk to the Kraken and catch three fish. The menu option won't appear at all until this is done.
"Code expired" / "Invalid code"
Code Has Expired
Codes expire without warning. Check our expired codes list to confirm. Always redeem codes the moment you see them — don't save them for later.
"Code not found"
Spelling or Case Error
Codes are case-sensitive. RELEASE ≠ release. Even a trailing space breaks it. Use the Copy button on our codes page to paste directly — never type manually.
"Already redeemed"
Code Already Used on This Account
Each code can only be redeemed once per Roblox account. If you've used it before — even a long time ago — it will always say already redeemed. This is not a bug.
No response / button grayed out
Server Lag After an Update
Right after a game update, servers can be unstable. Leave the game and rejoin a different server, then try again. Wait a few minutes before a second attempt.
Can't find the code box
Code Box Isn't Visible
The code input is at the very bottom of the Settings panel — scroll past all the other settings. If it still doesn't appear, you likely haven't finished the tutorial yet.

Do I really need to complete the tutorial before redeeming codes?
Yes, this is a hard requirement. The "Enter Code" field is completely hidden in the Settings panel until you finish the tutorial — there is no way around it. The tutorial involves talking to the Kraken and catching three fish. It only takes a few minutes and you only have to do it once per account.
Where exactly is the code box in Abyss?
Click the Gear icon in the top-left corner of the screen (just below your cash balance). A Settings panel will slide open on the left. Scroll to the very bottom of that panel — past all the other settings — and you'll see the "Enter Code" input field with a green Redeem button beside it.
How many times can I redeem a code?
Each code can only be redeemed once per Roblox account. Once you've claimed a code, attempting to enter it again will show an "already redeemed" error. This applies even if the code is still active — it just means you already got those rewards.
Do Abyss codes work on mobile and console?
Yes. Abyss codes work the same way on all platforms — PC, iOS, Android, and any console that runs Roblox. The Settings menu is in the same place and the redemption process is identical. Just make sure your touch targets are large enough on mobile for the copy-paste to work cleanly.
